I am a senior at Eastern Michigan University and this is my combined final project for Studio 2 and Simulation & Animation Dynamics.
The concept was inspired by hanging out with some old high school friends when we went bowling. Many people have strong feelings of nostalgia with bowling alleys from the tacky carpet to the satisfying sound of the ball striking the pins.
In this project I modeled, textured, lit, rendered, and composited myself. The ball's collision with the pins was simulated with Bullet and the project was rendered in V-Ray. Enjoy!
